this course deals with the concept of expression both orally and written , its significance , types , skills and the educational and linguistic criteria that have to be taken into consideration when teaching it. The course deals in detail with the functional expression and its forms ; such as expressing daily life situations , expressing life problems , writing letters, applying for jobs , filling postal orders and petitions and the relationship between expression and the language skills.
In addition, the course tackles the procedural steps of teaching the functional expression , methods of assessing and correcting them and methods of treating student's weakness in functional expression.
