This course deals with the concept and significance of assessment in achieving goals ; measurement and assessment , various types and means of assessment , written and oral tests, observation , reports, researches ,types and characteristics of questions , achievement tests in language and methods of designing them , a description of the effective test (table of characteristics , reliability and validity ) ,analyzing language lessons and formulating linguistic exercises : essay and multiple choice question , and designing tests in language applications ,correction them, analyzing and explaining their results.
