On Wednesday, the 7th International Conference of the School of Arts was launched at the school of Arts at the University of Jordan, entitled "The Role of Humanities and Social Sciences in Responding to Crises". In his speech, the President of the University, Dr. Nazir Obeidat, said, "The founders lived in the School of Arts, and from it creativity began. Here was Nasser al-Din al-Assad, here lived Nihad al-Musa, and from here the first batches graduated." Obeidat added, "Here were the rebels against the literature of the elders, the thinkers of pre-Islamic and Andalusian literature.
The conference, which lasts for two days, includes sessions on the following topics: Arabic language and literature and crises, geography and crises, philosophy and crises, psychology and crises, history and crises, sociology and crises, social work and crises, journalism, media, digital communication and crises.
