Mohammad Al-Mahdi Mosleh, a student in the Department of Social Work at the School of Arts, University of Jordan (UJ), won gold in the 800m and silver in the 1500m at the Dubai 2025 Asian Youth Para Games.
Mosleh claimed the two medals during the Games, held in Dubai from 7 to 14 December 2025, marking his first official international appearance. He also received his first official para classification (B1), a significant milestone in his competitive journey.
The championships brought together over 1500 young para-athletes from more than 35 Asian countries, creating a highly competitive field across multiple sports.
UJ said Mosleh’s achievement reflects the University’s support for student talent and its commitment to helping students excel both academically and in sport, while representing Jordan at regional and international events.
