My Colleagues and Fellow Members of the Academic and Administrative Staff at the Faculty of Arts, My Dear Students,
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds, who said: “Allah will raise in ranks those who believed from among you and those who are given knowledge." And blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, the noblest of creation and the seal of the prophets and messengers, who said: “The angels lower their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of satisfaction with what they do.”
As the academic year begins, it brings with it the tidings of hope, coinciding with our celebration of the centenary of the Jordanian state, which was founded by the Hashemites on the principles of justice, with knowledge as its cornerstone.
You, my esteemed colleagues and dear students, serve as exemplary models in the pursuit of knowledge and as a beacon of exemplary conduct. Given that the Faculty of Arts has always held a prestigious and esteemed position among you, I am confident that you will strive to elevate its status in all aspects, each according to their role and assigned responsibilities. This will contribute to making it the jewel of the University of Jordan’s faculties, of which we are proud and hold in high esteem.
My beloved ones, the source of my hope and trust.
Know, may Allah protect you, that I am a brother and colleague to you. I will remain, as you have known me, loyal and supportive, sparing no effort to help you achieve the goals you have set and the aspirations you have envisioned. I reaffirm that great resolve befits those of great determination, and noble deeds are befitting of the noble.
May you have a successful and prosperous academic year.
