A student delegation from the Social Work Program at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies on Sunday visited the School of Arts at the University of Jordan (UJ), the first stop in a series of visits to social and educational institutions in Jordan.
The visit aims to provide students with an overview of the experiences of Jordanian institutions working in the field of social work, exploring their practices and contributions.
The guest delegation, which was received by the Dean of the School of Arts, Prof. Mohammad Al Qudah, his deputies and assistants, and a number of faculty members from the Department of Social Work, was briefed on the school's departments and facilities.
In his remarks, Al Qudah highlighted the school's history, spanning over six decades, emphasizing its ongoing efforts to offer academic programs that serve students and meet their educational needs.
For his part, Head of the Social Work Department at the Doha Institute, Dr. Suleiman Abu Badr, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for this visit, which provides students with the opportunity to learn about Jordanian institutions in the field of social work. This contributes to the development of their academic skills and enhances their experience.
The visit comes as part of a series of visits to the Kingdom to get acquainted with the humanitarian organizations, in addition to social and educational institutions.
